Dallas Arboretum

Visitors from around the world journey to the Dallas Arboretum to experience this colorful oasis, featuring 66 acres of fragrant gardens and lush lawns on the shores of White Rock Lake overlooking downtown Dallas. One of the most picturesque gardens in the United States, the Dallas Arboretum is alive year-round with color and activity. Visit in the spring and see more than 2,400 different varieties of azaleas, the largest collection of its type west of the Mississippi. Don’t miss the Huang Collection of azaleas, the only public display of these rare plants outside China. Visit in autumn and you’ll be treated to a vast array of chrysanthemums.
